Total revenues soared 25.6 percent, to RON 407 mln (€95.4 mln), but are 8 percent below the budgeted level of RON 440.5 mln (€103.2 mln). The company’s report justifies this lower-than-expected level of revenues through lack of demand on the natural gas market. Revenues increased due mainly to higher tariffs for gas transport services, as well as revenues from international transit services, considering the rise in the exchange rate.
The company registered financial revenues worth RON 13.98 mln (€3.2 mln), 6.7 times higher year-on-year, due to revenues from interest rates, and far above the budgeted level of RON 2.3 mln (€539,121). The natural gas transporter’s net sales rose 22.3 percent in the first quarter, to RON 388.9 mln (€91.15 mln).
