"Such investments lead to annual earnings of 50-200 percent. The number and value of transactions double annually. We had transactions worth €50 million in 2007 and expect this to double in 2008," said Constantin Lazar, General Manager of Neoland. Lazar indicated that lands surrounding the Frumusani and Dascalu communes have the greatest potential from this point of view.
"There was a €200 million transaction, and a further two worth €150 million, so the amount is close to reality, although it is hard to provide an exact value," said Daniel Mitarcu, Consultant for the Lands and Investments Department of the DTZ Echinox real estate consultancy company.
