Transavia invests €17 million in a new processing unit

“The new unit in Oiejdea has a production capacity of 100 tons per day and is focused on two products: chicken meat sausages and chicken premium products - ready made. Through this brand, Transavia enters the boiled-smoked cold meats segment,” the company’s General Manager, Ioan Popa, said. The money invested in the new factory come mostly from the producer’s own funds.

Popa added the production will mostly target the internal market, but exports are also considered.
