Tuborg Romania expecting turnover of €120 mln in 2008

URBB has also allocated some €16 mln to upgrade equipment and increase its production capacity.

The Tuborg Romania portfolio includes the exclusive international beer brands Tuborg, Tuborg Strong, Tuborg Christmas Brew, Holsten, Carlsberg, Skol, Guinness and Kilkenny.

The local beer market is estimated to be worth €1 bln, and the most important competitors are multinationals Heineken, InBev, Ursus Breweries and URBB, followed by local producers European Foods, Bere Mures, Bermas Suceava and Robema Roşiorii de Vede.
