Two percent stock deal drives Unirea Shopping Center market value up to €100 mln

At the end of July, when the last SCDM share deal was made, the company’s value was €80 million.

Unirea Shopping Center’s main shareholder is Nova Trade, controlled by Dan and Carmen Adamescu, with 71.82 percent of the stock.

The SCDM quotation rose 24.6 percent after the 2 percent stock was traded for some €2.1 million.

Last year, prior to the financial market turmoil that led to a drastic decline on the local stock market, the company’s market value amounted to €140 million.

Unirea Shopping Center ended the first quarter of 2008 with turnover worth €5.7 million, 26 percent higher than in Q1 2007.
