Unemployment dropped slightly to 4.1% in December

According to ANOFM, the unemployment rate in December 2007 was 1.1 percentage points lower year-on-year, and the number of unemployed dropped by over 4,000, to 367,838 persons. 

As concerns unemployment by sex in December 2007 month-on-month, the level of male unemployed continued at 4.3 percent, while female unemployed dropped by 0.1 percentage points, to reach 4 percent. (NewsIn)
