Unita insuer increased its share capital by 121 percent, or €45 million, to support a sound development of the company, according to a press release. The rise was greenlighted by the Insurance Supervision Commission (CSA) late last month.
The company is owned by Uniqa insurance group. "This fist major investment made by Uniqa Group, which intends to create the needed financial basis to successfully implement the company's medium-term projects. Amid the global economic crisis, this capital inflow comes to prove the financial strength of the Uniqa Grpup and its commitment in Romania," the release writes. (NewsIn)
