Up to 3% of the shares belonging to Romania’s Transgaz to be sold

The company’s Initial Public Offering comprised of 1,177,384 shares with a total value of 225.96 million lei. The offer was oversubscribed 28 times, at the equivalent of 6.306 billion lei, as it attracted some 12,000 investors.

The IPO of Transgaz Medias was managed by Raiffeisen Capital & Investments and Intercapital Invest. The company reported a 207 million lei profit in the first nine months of the year. Transgaz transported some 9.75 million cubic meters of gas, in the first nine months of the year.

Transgaz has a share capital of 103.83 million lei, divided into 10.38 million shares. The Ministry of Economy and Finance controls 85 percent of the shares.
