Vel Pitar’s Vice President, Dan Trifu, goes to Grivco

Trifu was with Vel Pitar nine year, and will continue to serve on the company’s Board at least until the next meeting. He declined to state why he switched companies.

The Vel Pitar Group, owned by the Broadhurst investment fund, split up at the beginning of the year into ten distinctive companies, including milling companies Sapte Spice and Moara Rahova, and the VP Magassin store division. Vel Pitar continues to be a breadbaking company, producing among others also cookies and pasta. Its cumulated turnover last year was €82.2 mln, and main competitors are Titan, Boromir Ramnicu Valcea and Dobrogea Grup.
