Vodafone Romania announces a rise in revenue

There was a slight increase in average revenue per user (ARPU), to €11.1, some 1 percent higher year-on-year.

Orange Romania, market leader, posted ARPU of €11, almost double that of Cosmote, whose ARPU is €6.

“The year 2007 ended with five competitors on the mobile phone segment, which has led to multi-SIM development. Of course, we are getting closer to conditions of a mature market, in which growth is based on new services,” said Liliana Solomon, CEO Vodafone, for Business Standard.
