Volvo’s leasing division increased VFS International Romania’s capital
Before the increase, VFS’s share capital amounted to €193,350. VFS International AB currently controls 99.99 percent of its Romanian subsidiary.

VFS International AB has been part of the Volvo group since 2001 and provides leasing financing for the car manufacturer’s clients, mainly in Eastern Europe and several Asian and African countries.

Last year, the Romanian subsidiary closed some 60 percent of the deals for Volvo Trucks sales. The demand for Volvo trucks amounted to 2,444 units last year, compared to 985 units in 2006. Total truck sales amounted to 15,000 units in Romania in 2007.
