Vosganian: Transgaz privatization to continue

Minister of Economy and Finance, Varujan Vosganian, said that the privatization of Transgaz will continue with 2 or 3 percent.

This statement was made during the transaction session’s opening on Wednesday.
The Transgaz offer of more than 1.1 million shares worth over RON 225 mln, was subscribed almost 28 times, for an equivalent of €1.7 billion by over 12,000 investors for this two-part offer.

The larger part, of 60 percent of the total offer, including 706,430 shares, was subscribed some 39 times, at an equivalent of 27.5 million shares, attracting over RON 5 bln (€1.5 bln).

The smaller 470,954 share part was subscribed 11 times, at an equivalent of 5.3 mln shares, for which investors paid over RON 1 bln (some €300 mln). (NewsIn)
