What are Bucharest’s annual real estate pole revenues

Owners of office buildings and commercial centers in the Baneasa area are winners in terms of revenue from rents, at a total of some €81.16 million yearly. The western Militari area is second, where retailers obtain over 45 mln from retailers, followed by the owners of Piata Victoriei’s offices, which generates €44 million. These figures were calculated by Business Standard on the basis of information supplied by the main local market real estate consultancy companies, and are based on total rentable surface in the main office and retail buildings and based on specific average rents for each area. Players on the local real estate market questioned by Business Standard also identified new areas that are being developed, such as Barbu Vacarescu, a future business pole, and the western Semanatoare area.

“The area with the highest development potential in the capital continues to be the northern region, both because of its reduced historic development density, and because there are several infrastructure projects in process at this time which, once finalized, will facilitate access to and from residential projects, office buildings and commercial centers being developed in the area, said representatives of Baneasa Investments, beneficiaries of the Băneasa Project. This is also where the largest concentration of commercial centers is, including Selgros, Metro, BricoStore, Mobexpert, Ikea, Carrefour, Galeria Feeria and Băneasa Shopping City.
