“Romanian specialists who return to the country due to the crisis or for personal reasons, are a resource increasingly present on the local market,” she told Business Standard.
The company has not changed its recruiting plans, in spite of the global economic and financial crisis, and intends to hire some 200 people by March 2010, and up to 300 employees the following year. WNS has recruited 20 persons since the beginning of 2009. Meanwhile the number of job applications on special segments has increased fivefold. “For a position, such as customer service manager, we have some 400 applicants, although relevant CVs have remained unchanged from before,” Zancu added.
Furthermore, due to the crisis, the personnel turnover, amounting to some 30-40 percent in the outsourcing industry last year, is to drop in the coming period.
