“The reasons for our growth are the same as last year, including the opening of a first unit in franchise, which will add to the rise in revenue,” said Sabin Cernea, President of the CSC Exim 92 company, the owner of the two brands.
“The opening of new office buildings, higher consumer incomes, and a rise in Wu Xing brand popularity were among the factors leading to business growth and a higher number of clients,” Cernea added.
The company posted €700,000 in turnover at the end of the first quarter in 2008. Last year, CSC Exim 92 posted €2.1 worth of business.
The Wu Xing brand claims a 65 percent ratio of the company’s turnover, while Hai la Masa makes up the rest.
The company has three production centers in Bucharest and a franchise in the northern city of Cluj-Napoca. “By the end of 2008, we plan to open a further center in the capital, but we are still considering possible locations,” Cernea said.
Its main competitors are Cuptorul cu lemne, Jerry’s Pizza and PP59, on the catering segment, and Templul Soarelui, Pekin and Sushi to go on the oriental food restaurant segment.
