The reasons for which increasingly more companies resort to direct recruitment are a cut in outsourcing budgets and excess personnel on the labour market, according to recruitment specialists.

Ioana Moholea, Executive Director of the Perspective Group human resource consultancy company, said that companies which use direct recruitment have a well developed human resource (HR) department, with HR specialists who have only this task to focus on.

Florin Ochiana, HR Operations Manager Lugera&Makler, said that direct recruitment is not an invention of the crisis, but rather has always existed. “Direct recruitment is now practiced much more than in previous, “normal” times, because outsourcing budgets have decreased significantly,” Ochiana added.
