Ministry of Regional Development and Habitat for Humannity to rebuild 200 houses affected by floods

Some 150 houses will be restored on the old establishments, while other 50 have to be moved and will be constructed on a land offered by the City Hall, said Elena Udrea, adding no other house will be constructed in the area that can be drowned.

Adrian Ciorna, the person who implemented the Habitat for Humannity concept in Romania, estimates these works will amount to 4 million euros.

Udrea mentioned four accounts were opened at BCR, BRD, RBS and Banca Transilvania, so these works are not made with money from the state budget.

The minister of regional development and tourism also said the project carried out with Habitat for Humannity could be extended to other areas as well in the future.
