Alro invested $100 mln to become aeronautical industry supplier

To comply with conditions by civil and military aircraft producers, Alro invested some $80-100 million (€62.2-77.8 mln) in recent years. Two months ago, it was granted the Nadcap (National Aerospace and Defense Contractor Accreditation Program) certificate, a global cooperative standards-setting program for aerospace engineering, defense and related industries. “The Nadcap certificate brings us to a higher class on the aluminum market. The aerospace industry is the higher end of products supplied by the aluminum industry,” Dobra said.
