On May 9, the ministry will also provide further financing worth €300 million, according to Labor Ministry State Secretary Alexandru Petru Fratean. Both initiatives are part of the government plan to deal with the crisis by supporting companies in the area of employing or training personnel.
So far, 2.800 projects were filed for Human Resources Operational Development Program financing. By the end of the year, the authorities hope that the full funds allocated through this program for 2007-2009, worth some €1 billion, will be absorbed.
