Financial investment companies (SIF) registered the largest increase, of 1.3 percent, in yesterday's session, against a backdrop of total transactions worth €7.2 mln, 46.6 percent of BVB's liquidity.
"Financial results registered by companies in the first nine months of this year have increased the enthusiasm of investors," said Andreea Ciobanu, analyst with Intercapital Invest brokerage company.
The BET-C index registered a 0.38 percent increase, up to 6,387.20 points. The BET index, which indicates the evolution of top ten listed companies with the highest liquidity, soared by 1.07 percent, to 9,179.44 points, and the ROTX index on the Vienna Stock Exchange surged 0.95 percent, to 20,312.11 points.
Of the SIFs, SIF2 Moldova registered the largest increase, of 2.5 percent, while SIF1 Banat-Crisana appreciated by 2.22 percent. SIF5 Oltenia was the most-traded issuer in yesterday's session, with total transactions worth €2.18 mln.
The value of transactions on BVB amounted to RON 42.95 mln (€12.46 mln) yesterday, down 7.9 percent from the previous session, and blue-chips appreciated on average by 1 percent, due to an increased interest for buying, according to brokers.
