However, freezing or cutting the number of employees remains the measure preferred by most local companies, as 47 percent indicated they will apply this measure in 2009.
The Senior Consultant in the HR Hart Human Resource advisory company, Loredana Vladareanu, said that other measures for cutting costs include lower salaries, layoffs, flexible hours, and working at home.
