“The crisis is also affecting our clients. There are two significant trends: companies lower their budgets for office supplies and clients are redirecting themselves towards low-cost products,” said Relu Cirjan, Chief Executive Officer of Be Proffice, RTC’s specialized division.
Cirjan added that the company will try to maintain an “optimum” balance between what it traditionally offered clients and new products in the 2009 economic range. “We have to look at things in perspective. The crisis will probably extend through 2009 and the beginning of next year,” the company official said.
Be Proffice covers 20-25 percent of a market valued at some €300 million at the end of last year. “In terms of value, this market share will probably not rise significantly this year. But, in terms of number of clients, it will definitely increase,” the division’s CEO added.
