According to quoted sources, CEZ considers it possible that the financial institutions become equity partners in various projects. “It is too early to say how much the financing attracted by CEZ could be, but this could range from several tens or hundreds of millions of euro, maybe even over €500 million at the global level, depending on current market conditions,” sources told Business Standard.
CEZ posted a net profit worth CZK 46.51 billion (€1.65 bln) in 2008, up 11.9 percent year-on-year, due to price increases and the good performance of international operations, among other things. CEZ Romania registered revenues worth some RON 1.5 bln (€407 mln), up some 15 percent from 2007, according to company data.
