Financial companies gain 0.25% at rising bell on the Bucharest Stock Exchange

Deals this morning dropped three times to 7.72 million lei (2.13 million euros) versus the 24.3 million lei on May 30.

Bourses in the U.S. closed mixed on Friday. The Dow Jones (DJIA) composite index lost 0.06 percent to 12,638 and the S&P 500 index measuring the best 500 companies in the U.S. gained 0.15 percent to 1,400. Nasdaq added 0.57 percent at closing to 2,522.

The BET index of the ten best companies on BSE decreased 0.55 percent to 7,762.25 while the BET-C composite index measuring all listed shares minus investment funds dipped 0.31 percent to 5,471.62.

The BET-FI index of the five financial companies also known as SIFs nudged up 0.25 percent to 56,149.17 and the ROTX index for trading blue chips in Vienna dropped 0.51 percent to 17,815.62.

The shares of fertilizer producer Amonil (AMO) were the most liquid, yet they cheapened 3.61 percent, to 0.0935 lei. The shares of fertilizer producer Azomures (AZO) lost 2.14 percent, to 0.6850 lei.

SIF Oltenia (SIF5) rose 0.33 percent, to 3.03 lei and SIF Moldova (SIF2) stagnated at 2.34 lei. The shares of SIF Muntenia (SIF4) increased 0.57 percent, to 1.77 lei. Broker Cluj (BRK) upped 2.22 percent, to 0.92 lei.

The fifth lender by assets Banca Transilvania (TLV) dipped 0.21 percent to 0. 4720 lei. BRD SocGen (BRD), Romania’s second lender by assets, lost 0.87 percent, to 22.90 lei.

Erste Bank (EBS), the majority owner of Romania’s largest bank by assets Banca Comerciala Romana and listed on the bourse’s international tier, decreased 0.29 percent, to 174.50 lei.

Shares of the country's biggest petrol company Petrom (SNP) decreased 0.91 percent, to 0.5450 lei. Rompetrol Rafinare (RRC) dived 1.43 percent, to 0.0620 lei.
