The decision by the retailer was influenced by the positive evolution of such products on international markets, and the potential for their development on the Romanian market, which has registered an annual 30 percent growth rate, according to a company press release issued Thursday.
Flamingo International group representatives indicated that to date an increasing number of producers and retailers of electronic and IT&C products, and household appliances, are focussing on the sale of non-conventional products, which are part of the impulse product category. This trend appeared following sustained efforts by international producers to target various types of clients by offering personalized products. Disney-branded electronic goods are the first non-conventional goods to be launched on the local electronic retail market, confirming the adoption by the Flamingo International group of this sales strategy, in keeping with trends registered on international markets.
