Ford climbs to third place for imports, up 35% after 7 months

This means the American brand has a 10.47 percent market share and is third among importers, announced the company.

In the first six months of the year, Ford was fourth, with sales of 9,350 units, behind Skoda (12,713 units), Renault (10,923 units), and Volkswagen (10,149 units). The company reported growth exceeding 47 percent in H1 2008, one of the highest for the import brand segment.
