Former Banca Comerciala Romana CEO to remain in the banking system

Danila’s resignation this autumn as BCR's CEO went into effect as of December 1. "I will announce in early January where I am heading. I am not leaving the banking system. This is where I developed a career and it is only natural to continue as a banker," he said. Danila added that he plans to enjoy the winter holidays with his family and to consider his job offers.

Danila is going to attend further meetings of BCR shareholders, as he owns stock in the company and of the Austrian Erste group, which has controlling interest in BCR.

In spite of his resignation as Director of BCR director, Danila will continue as First Vice President of the Romanian Banking Association (ARB).
