George Christoforidis is new Alexandrion manager

Christoforidis, 35, was previously Managing Director of Greek Media Group and General Manager of Cream Line Romania chocolate producer. 

His mission is to establish the group's development strategy for the next five years and "to increase the business potential both in Romania and internationally," the release writes. 

The managing director position is new within Alexandrion Group. The management was previously a task of the company's President, Nawaf Salameh. 

Alexandrion Group was established in Romania in 1994, with operations in several fields. On the spirits segment, the company has five production units and bottling, both in Romania and Greece. 

Last year, the group posted €65.4 million and sold more than 10 million bottles of Alexandrion brandy, according to company data.
