Leaders of the Yesterday members of the centrist Liberal Democrat Party (PD-L) and leftist Social Democrat Party (PSD) on Thursday met to discuss the budget draft for 2009.
"The edgiest talks were about lowering expenses with salaries in the public system,” according to PD-L and PSD representatives. They added that the move is nothing but a way to hike the salaries of others employees in the public system and maintain the budget deficit target of two percent of the Gross Domestic Product (GDP).
