Hay Group: Highest salaries rises for middle managers and workers in 2008

Employers on the Romanian market included in the Hay Group study expect salaries of middle managers to increase 15.7 percent in 2008, while salaries of both skilled and unskilled workers are expected to rise 1.5 percent.

The wages of top managers will likely increase 15.1 percent, while administrative staff and specialists will have salaries of only 14.4-14.5 percent higher.

The significant growth in salaries is due to the fact that 70 percent of companies have indicated that they have difficulties recruiting staff for certain positions.
