Liberty already controls one production unit in Romania, through Transdanube Industries, a company that acquired assets from steel producer, Turol SA Oltenita, in early 2007.
The company is represented by Liberty Commodities Ltd and plans to produce an annual 200,000 tons of steel initially, and to its double production capacity in the coming two years.
The company targets €30 million turnover in the first year and €50 mln once the production capacity doubles.
