The BVB company registered as many as 31 new shareholders last week, most of whom were individuals. In recent years, buyers of BVB company stock were individual and institutional investors, including U.S. Morgan Stanley investment bank.
Most recent sales offers came from brokerage company WBS Romania, which offered a 10,000 share package for sale for RON 140 (€37.6) per share, and a further 20,000 share package for RON 150 (€40.3) per share.
At RON 150 per share, BVB’s market capitalization amounts to €200 million.
“A stock market is traded depending on the cumulated capitalization of listed companies and traded volumes. From this point of view, the local market is on an upward trend and will not stop. In theory, stock market shares can be a good deal, as prices could even triple in the next two or three years, depending on how much the market grows,” said brokerage company IFB Invest’s Deputy General Manager, Octavian Molnar.
The BVB company currently has 131 shareholders.
