“At present, products for the residential segment make up the most significant ratio of Ruukki Romania’s business, but we will focus on solutions for the logistics and industrial hall segments in the coming years,” said Saku Sipola, President of Ruukki Construction international division.
The company expects a turnover worth €32 million in Romania this year, 40 percent higher year-on-year, with some 30 percent from sales of metal structures.
Ruukki estimates revenue worth some €20 million on the industrial hall and logistics center segments, which represents some 10 percent of the local market.
The company entered the Romanian market in 2001. Its main competitors are Megaprofil, Lindab and Arcelor Mittal Construction.
