Intrarom to supply 80,000 IT products in four months

Intrarom, the local subsidiary of Greek Intracom group, won a tender organized by Education and Research Ministry (MEC) for schools modernization. This is one of the biggest contracts in the software and IT industry, worth €122.4 million. On the software segment, Intrarom subcontracted software provider Siveco.

Beside the IT products, the two companies will deliver some 2,000 multimedia interactive classes in Romanian.

Intrarom posted €52.2 million worth of business in 2007, some 17 percent lower year-on-year. Among its main clients are several companies and state institutions - Justice Ministry, telecom operator Romtelecom, Eximbank lender, the National Lottery Company, Bucharest City Hall.
