Israeli realtor Mentor Group doles out EUR 150m to build residences in Romania

The company, administered by Israeli businessman Alon Peled, is eyeing mostly cities in the country, planning to focus on the luxury segment of the market.

Breaking into the market in Romania is “no coincidence”, Peled said, adding the company has been operating on the East European market for four years.

Mentor Group is currently in talks with three other investors whom it tries to convince to chip in some money to the projects it has in store for Romania.

The company was officially founded in 2004. It operates through three arms: Mentor Invest specializing in finding land and real estate opportunities, Mentor Pro Market which carries out market research studies and Mentor Media working in advertising.
