“We feel that our Romanian team is quite well developed, and there is no need to bring fresh forces from outside the country,” said Operations Manager Charlotte van den Abeele. KBC Securities entered the Romanian market early last year, when it took over the majority share package of Swiss Capital from owner, Sorin Apostol.
“We have already appointed Sorin Apostol as General Manager, because he knows the company best, owing to the fact that he is former owner of Swiss Capital,” added Charlotte van den Abeele.
KBC became the most important broker company in last year, after the transfer of several brokers from ING Securities to KBC.
