The company began producing polyurethane foams at the end of 2007, which boosted sales by 250 percent. Den Braven increased exports to ten states and plans to export to five more countries by the end of the year. Polyurethane foams make up 43 percent of total sales, compared to 30 percent in 2007.
There were also significant advances for products based on silicone, acrylic and hot melt adhesives.
Den Braven plans to invest €2 mln to buy a second production line for polyurethane foams and hot melt production equipment. The new line will increase the company’s production capacity by over 30 percent.
