“Managers complain that the pressure is so high in the companies in which they work that they are considering changing their workplace,” said Podoleanu.
According to studies conducted at global level, in times of crisis, companies would rather restructure management positions than other jobs, according to Irina Manolescu, Executive Director of the HR Career Solutions International consultancy company.
“When managers feel the ship is sinking – and the management is the first to realize the scope of the phenomenon – many seek to find another ship as soon as possible. Statistics show that the level most affected globally by the crisis is the managerial one, especially men, unlike our country, where restructuring occurs at the worker level, targeting mainly women,” Manolescu added.
