Meggle Romania could acquire a local producer

“We produced fresh products at Lactag, yogurt and cream. I think our collaboration was ok, but Lactag no longer meets Meggle’s strategy for Romania. We are focusing on other products,” the Country Manager of Megle Romania, Murgu Waldemar, told Business Standard.

Since the partnership with Lactag ended, Meggle gave up the yogurt and cream segment, and is focusing on longer-term products.

Meggle is to announce its new strategy for Romania this September.
