MOL’s main competitors on the Romanian market are Petrom, controlled by Austrian OMV group, Kazakh KazMunaiGas-controlled Rompetrol, and the local subsidiary of Russian LukOil group.
At a group level, MOL posted €260.2 million in net profit in 2007, 9 percent higher year-on-year.
