Morgan Stanley managers for HTI Valori Mobiliare

Francisco Silva, Managing Director of Morgan Stanley investment bank, will become Manager of local HTI Valori Mobiliare brokerage company. Morgan Stanley’s former Development Manager, Craig Niven, has also become part of HTI’s management, according to the National Securities Commission (CNVM).

Late last year, Morgan Stanley acquired 51 percent of HTI Valori Mobiliare from businessman Daniel Tepes, who currently owns 47 percent of the company and is part of the broker’s Board of Directors.

HTI ranked 60th in April among top brokerage companies, and 19th since the beginning of the year, with transactions worth €27.25 million.

Last September, Morgan Stanley also became a direct shareholder of the Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB), by acquiring 200 BVB shares from HTI Valori Mobiliare. The investment bank currently indirectly owns 4.26 percent of BVB shares and is the stock exchange company’s main shareholder.
