New Sandero model to be launched on 3 June

The new hatchback model, inspired by the Renault Sandero, was first introduced at the Geneva Auto Show earlier this year.

The five-door car will be sold in Romania at prices similar to those of the Logan, Dacia’s current bestseller, according to company representatives. The Logan sells for €6,400-10,000.

Production of the new model will be launched in July and sales will begin at the end of 2008 or in early 2009.

Automobile Dacia, currently the largest car maker on the local market, recently announced a €300 million investment to increase production capacities and modernize assembly lines by next year.
