“As soon as Tarom implements this system on some charters, we will reach 100 percent e-ticketing sales,” said Alin Burcea, General Manager of Paralela 45 travel agency.
National airline company Tarom issues over 95 percent of tickets online, with the exception of some internal flights.
The Romanian Airline Transporters Association (IATA) has requested that airline companies and member travel agencies implement the program for online sale of airline tickets by May 2008.
