According to a release sent to the Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB), where the company is listed, Petrom will use the financing line to cover its needs.
“This financing line is part of a wider financing program, agreed on last June, required for the support of the company’s restructuring and modernization,” Petrom CEO Mariana Gheorghe said, quoted by the release. “Our goals related to the company’s development are outstandingly ambitious, as are investments,” she added.
In the past three years and nine months, the company invested €3.56 billion in the modernization process.
