Romania is the last country loyal to the Nabucco project

The Nabucco pipeline is supposed to bring Caspian gas to Central Europe, via Turkey and the Balkans. The project was seen by the European Union as a priority and is supported by the United States.

However, this project cannot survive with support from Brussels and Washington only in the form of encouragement, Socor writes. The only chance to save the project is to gain access to gas from Central Asia and Iran, Socor concluded.
