Romania’s No.1 bank BCR to pay dividends for 2007 profit 0.54% higher than two years ago

In 2006 BCR paid dividend of 0.46427922 lei/per share.

The lender’s net profit last year stood at 491.88 million lei, according to Romanian accounting standards (RAS) and the value of dividends is 369.9 million lei, 40 percent of the net established according to the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).

The lender’s net profit calculated according to IFRS grew 22.3 percent to 924.8 million lei (276.5 million euros), while the net profit of the bank’s majority owner, Austrian lender Erste Bank, advanced 26 percent to 1.174 billion euros, beating estimates.
