Romanian managers for SocGen’s international retail division

SocGen owns Romania’s second-largest lender, Banca Romana de Dezolvoltare (BRD). The former Human Resources Manager of BRD-SocGen, Florin Luca, was recently promoted within the group’s international retail banking division. “The group’s human resources policy encourages mobility both internally and internationally, so that managers opting for an international career within Societe Generale can take various positions” both in the group’s subsidiaries worldwide and at the Paris headquarters, according to BRD’s President and CEO, Patrick Gelin, for Business Standard.

He added that several BRD managers have been transferred to the group’s international Retail Banking division or to SocGen’s headquarters.
