Romanian stocks rebound after several days of decrease; European stocks grow

The BET-C index assessing all listed shares minus investment funds gained 0.43 percent and the BET index tracking the market’s ten top performers advanced 1.38 percent.

The BET-FI index measuring the five investment funds known as SIFs rose 0.53 percent.

SIF Banat-Crisana (SIF1) shares rose 0.29 percent, to 3.42 lei. They were followed by the shares of SIF Muntenia (SIF4), with a 0.85 percent increase, to 2.38 lei. SIF Oltenia (SIF5) shares advanced 0.72 percent, to 4.18 lei. The shares of SIF Moldova (SIF2) rose 0.88 percent, to 3.44 lei.

The shares of Banca Transilvania (TLV) rose 0.58 percent, to 0.86 lei. The shares of BRD SocGen (BRD), Romania’s second lender by assets, rose 1.58 percent, to 25.70 lei per share.
