Sandero suppliers invested over €200 mln in the model

Renault allocated some €65 mln for the design of Sandero, and €82 mln to effect the specific changes to the production lines. “Investments in the new factories depend on supplied components and their ratio to build the car,” said Automobile Dacia Vice President, Constantin Stroe. 

Stroe added that investments made by suppliers for the production of the Sandero model are intended to serve as an incentive for them to become part of the Ford supplier network. Dacia representatives said 60-70 percent of Sandero components will come from Romanian suppliers.
