“Selena President, Krzysztof Domarecki, recently announced that Romania is one of the group’s targets to open a production unit,” said Selena Romania’s General Manager, Dorin Spataru. He added that a decision will be made in some two years.
According to Production Manager Lucian Matei, one of the possible targets could be the production of floor and furniture adhesives.
“The decision to invest in production was made following the listing on the Warsaw Stock Exchange. Funds obtained from capitalization will be used to finance these projects,” Matei added.
Selena Romania ended 2007 with a turnover worth RON 19.5 million (€5.32 mln) and estimates an increase of up to RON 25 mln (€6.82 mln) this year.
